Dogging-in for 2026
I've just been to look at an area that I need to work for the Game keeper to help keep the birds on the shoot grounds, it will be perfect for some live training opportunities that I will put out to clients as soon as I can work out some dates, If you are up for some early morning training get in touch (long lines will be needed until your dog can prove otherwise)
First dogging in session of 2026
I'm not going to lie, this was a bit of a wild ride for the springers, they haven`t been on birds since the end of the season, they have both been recovering from injuries in one form or another then the hot weather this year hit, meaning I've not done as much training as I want with them and this video doesn't do it justice but there were a lot of birds in this field that were a long way from where they should be and I underestimated the size of this bird mix, little old me is trying to do the job of a team of beaters! I personally think we should turn it into a drive.
